Steiff Marmaduke Teddy Bear is made from the finest mohair in a warm beige colour. His head is slighty wobbly - which just adds to his charm. His fur is sparse in places and together with his felt paw pads which have been hand airbrushed around the edges just give him that antique and much loved look. Black eyes and hand embroidered mouth and nose together with such a sweet expression just make you want to cuddle him. Limited edition of just 1,500 pieces worldwide. Surface washable.
At JustTeddies we take a keen interest in all new Steiff limited editions. We found a number of qualities we liked in Marmaduke. Firstly the loosely woven further covering his body, although thick, allows his material underneath to be seen. We think that this creates a traditional effect, mimicking the style of bears from the early 20th century.
